A Mini-bio is a presentation of your choice - a Prezi, a wiki, a DesignPad document, anything - as long as it contains a detailed paragraph (or more) description focusing on the time frame of the unit (1914 - 1933). Include the important information (Who is the person? What did they do that's important? When were they alive? Where were they? Why are they important? How did they impact the workld?). Add pictures to make it more engaging (not too many or it will be too busy). Write In Complete Sentences.

A Podcast is an audio (sound) only recording. It should contain the important information (Who is involved? What did they do that's important? When is the event taking place? Where is the event? Why did the event happen? How does this event impact the workld?).

A Diary Entry is a writing piece that is at least 2 paragraphs long. It is written as if you are experiencing the event during your lifetime. It should include how the event makes you feel, how it impacts your world. There should be an abundance of details. It should contain the important information (Who is involved? What did they do that's important? When is the event taking place? Where is the event? Why did the event happen? How does this event impact the workld?).

A Letter to the Editor is a writing piece that is written in letter format. People write letters to editor to voice their opinion about a subject. The letter gives their stance and the reasons behind it that support their decision. Your letters to the editor should include your opinion and the detailed reasons supporting your stance. Every letter should also include a brief background of the subject about which you are writing.

For Events, include:

All essays should be well-written in complete sentences and typed. Two pages (front only) in 12 point New Times Roman font.

Anything turned in written by hand (anything except essays) should be in neat, well-written paragraphs following the instructions for each project.
